High Threat Security Alert (A26-10-30): Vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS

Description:

Fortinet released a security advisory to address a vulnerability in Fortinet systems. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted requests to an affected system.

Reports indicate that exploit code for remote code execution, information disclosure, and tampering vulnerability (CVE-2025-61624) is actively being used in the wild. System administrators are advised to take immediate action to patch your affected systems to mitigate the elevated risk of cyber attacks.

• FortiPAM 1.0 (all versions), version 1.1 (all versions), version 1.2 (all versions), version 1.3 (all versions), version 1.4 (all versions), version 1.5 (all versions), version 1.6 (all versions), version 1.7.0
• FortiProxy version 7.0 (all versions), version 7.2 (all versions), version 7.4.0 through 7.4.11, version 7.6.0 through 7.6.4
• FortiSwitchManager version 7.0.0 through 7.0.6, version 7.2.0 through 7.2.7

Impact:

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to remote code execution, information disclosure and tampering on an affected system.
