Description:
PackageKit released a security advisory to address a vulnerability in affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted requests to an affected system.
Reports indicated that the proof-of-concept(PoC) exploit codes for an escalation of privilege vulnerability (CVE-2026-41651) is available. System administrators are advised to take immediate action to patch your affected systems to mitigate the elevated risk of cyber attacks.

- PackageKit versions from 1.0.2 through 1.3.4
Impact:
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to escalation of privilege on an affected system.
