High Threat Security Alert (A26-01-23): Vulnerability in Fortinet Products

Description:

Fortinet has released security advisory to address a vulnerability in Fortinet systems. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted requests to an affected system.

Reports indicated that a security restriction bypass vulnerability (CVE-2026-24858) in Fortinet Products is being exploited in the wild. System administrators are advised to take immediate action to patch your affected systems to mitigate the elevated risk of cyber attacks.

Affected Systems:

• FortiAnalyzer version 7.0.0 through 7.0.15, version 7.2.0 through 7.2.11, version 7.4.0 through 7.4.9, version 7.6.0 through 7.6.5
• FortiManager version 7.0.0 through 7.0.15, version 7.2.0 through 7.2.11, version 7.4.0 through 7.4.9, version 7.6.0 through 7.6.5
• FortiOS version 7.0.0 through 7.0.18, version 7.2.0 through 7.2.12, version 7.4.0 through 7.4.10, version 7.6.0 through 7.6.5
• FortiProxy version 7.0 (all versions), version 7.2 (all versions), version 7.4.0 through 7.4.12, version 7.6.0 through 7.6.4
