Description:
Fortinet released a security advisory to address a vulnerability in Fortinet products. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted requests to an affected system.
Affected Systems:
- FortiOS version 7.2.5 and 7.4.0 through 7.4.1
- FortiProxy version 7.4.0 through 7.4.1
Impact:
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to elevation of privilege of affected system.
Recommendation:
Software updates for affected systems are now available. Administrators of affected systems should follow the recommendations provided by the product vendor and take immediate actions to mitigate the risk.
