Security Alert (A21-04-04): Multiple vulnerabilities in Firefox

Description:

Mozilla has published the advisories (MFSA 2021-15 and MFSA 2021-16) to address multiple vulnerabilities in Firefox browser. A remote attacker could entice a user running a vulnerable browser to visit a web page with specially crafted content to exploit the vulnerabilities.

Affected Systems:

• Firefox ESR Windows versions prior to version 78.10
• Firefox Windows versions prior to version 88

Users of affected systems should follow the recommendations provided by the product vendor and take immediate actions to mitigate the risk.

Impact:

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities could lead to arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation, information disclosure, security feature bypass, spoofing, tampering and application crash on an affected system.
