Security Alert (A20-06-01): Vulnerability in Apple iOS and iPadOS

Description:

Apple has released iOS 13.5.1 and iPadOS 13.5.1 to fix a security vulnerability in various Apple devices. The vulnerability could be exploited by enticing a user to open a specially crafted application on a device running iOS or iPadOS.

Affected Systems:

• iPhone 6s and later
• iPad Air 2 and later, mini 4 and later
• iPod touch (7th generation)

Impact:

A successful attack could lead to arbitrary code execution and elevation of privilege

Recommendation:
