Security Alert (A19-08-06): Vulnerability in Apple iOS

Description:

Apple has released a security update in its latest iOS version 12.4.1 to fix a vulnerability identified in various iOS devices. The vulnerability could be exploited by enticing a user to open a specially crafted application.

 

Affected Systems:

  • iPhone 5s and later
  • iPad Air and later
  • iPod touch (6th generation)

 

Impact:

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution on an affected system.

 

Recommendation:

The product vendor has released iOS 12.4.1 to address the issues.
