Security Alert (A24-02-18): Multiple Vulnerabilities in Cisco Products

Description:

Cisco released security advisories to address multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco products. For information about the vulnerabilities and the attacking vectors, please refer to the corresponding security advisory at the vendor's website.

 

Affected Systems:

  • Cisco Firepower 4100 Series
  • Cisco Firepower 9300 Security Appliances
  • Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer Switches
  • Cisco Nexus 3000, 3600, 5500, 5600, 6000, 7000 and 9000 Series Switches
  • Cisco Nexus 9500 R-Series Line Cards
  • Cisco UCS 6200, 6300, 6400 and 6500 Series Fabric Interconnects

Impact:

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities could lead to denial of service or security restriction bypass of affected system.

 

Recommendation:

Patches for affected systems are now available. System administrators of affected systems should follow the recommendations provided by the vendor and take immediate actions to mitigate the risk.
